「奇跡講座」の構成
[奇跡講座」は、その題名が示す通り、前編にわたり教材の形で構成されている。
三冊から成る教材は、
６６９ページの「テキスト（教科書）」、
４４８ページの「受講生のためのワークブック」、
９２ページの「教師の為のマニュアル」である。
これらの教材を使う順序や学習方法は、受講生各自の必要は好みに任される。
「奇跡講座」が提供するカリキュラムは念入りに構築されており、理論と実践の両面において段階を追って説明される。
理論よりも実践、進学よりも体験が重視されている。
「奇跡講座」は、「普遍的な神学は不可能だが、普遍的な体験ならば、可能であるばかりか、必要である」（「教師のためのマニュアル」：「用語の解説」序文２）とはっきりと述べている。キリスト教の言葉が使われてはいるが、扱っているのは普遍的な霊性に関するテーマである。
こうした普遍的なカリキュラムは他にいくつもあり、このコースはその一つにすぎず、異なるのは形だけであることが強調されている。そうしたカリキュラムはすべて、最終的には神に行き着く。
「テキスト」は概して理論を扱い、「奇跡講座」の思考体系の土台をなす概念を説明している。そうした「テキスト」の概念は「ワークブック」のレッスンの基礎となるものを含んでいる。「ワークブック」が提供する実際の適用練習なくしては、「テキスト」はおおむね抽象概念の羅列にとどまり、このコースが目指す思考の逆転をもたらすには不充分である。
「ワークブック」は一日一課、全部で一年分の３６５のレッスンから構成されている。しかし、一日一家の速度で学習を進める必要はなく、特に心惹かれるレッスンにはもっと日数をかけてもかまわない。ただ、一日に１レッスン以上進もうとしないように、とだけは注意されている。
序文においては以下の通り、「ワークブック」の実用性が強調され、最初から霊的な目標に専心することよりも、実践による体験を重視している。
この「ワークブック」が提示する概念の中には、
信じがたいものや、驚愕させられるようなものがあるかもしれない。
そうしたことは問題ではない。
あなたはただ、指示される通りに、その概念を適用するだけでよい。
それらの是非を判断することはまったく求められていない。
ただそれらを使うよう求められている。
使うことにより、
それらがあなたにとって意味あるものとなり、
真実であることが示されるだろう。
ただ次のことだけを覚えていなさい。
あなたはこれらの概念を信じる必要もなければ、
受け入れる必要もなく、
歓迎する必要さえもない。
あなたが断固として抵抗するような概念もあるかもしれない。
こうしたことは一切、何の問題にもならないし、その効力を減じることもない。
しかし、「ワークブック」に含まれている概念を適用する際に、
例外を設けて構わないと思ってはならない。
そうした概念にあなたがどう反応しようとも、とにかくそれらを使用することである。
それ以上のことは何も要求されていない

最後に、「教師のためのマニュアル」は質疑応答形式で書かれており、受講生が抱きやすい質問への回答が提供されている。また、「奇跡講座」で使われる用語について、「テキスト」の理論的枠組みの中で解説されている。
「奇跡講座」はおのコース自体が最終着地点であるとは主張せず、「ワークブック」のレッスンも受講生の学びを完結させるところまでは意図していない。最後には各人が自らの内なる教師にゆだねられ、その後の学びはすべて、内なる教師により各人に最も相応しい形で導かれることになる。「奇跡講座」が取り扱う内容は広範囲におよぶが、真理は有限な形に限定することはできない。これは、「ワークブック」がその最後に明確に表明している通りである。
このコースは始まりであって、終わりではない。

（中略）これからは、神とあなたの真の自己を代弁する声の身を聞きなさい。

What It is
As the title implies, the Course is arranged throughout as a teaching device. It consists of three books: a 669-page text, a 488-page Workbook for Students, and 92-page Manual for Teachers.
the order in which students choose to use the books, and the ways in which they study them, depend on their particular needs and preferences.
The curriculum the Course proposes is carefully conceived and is explained, step by step, at both the theoretical and practical levels. It emphasizes application rather than theory, and experience rather than theology. It specifically states that "a universal theology is impossible, but a universal experience is not only possible but necessary" (Manual, P77). Although Christian in statement, the Course deals with universal spiritual themes. It emphasizes that it is but one version of the universal curriculum. There are many others, this one differing from them only in form. They all lead to God in the end.
The Text is largely theoretical and sets forth the concepts on which the Course's thought system is based. Its ideas contain the foundation for the Workbook's lessons. Without the practical application the Workbook provides, the Text would remain largely a series of abstractions which would hardly suffice to bring about the thought reversal at which the Course aims.
The Workbook includes 365 lessons, one for each day of the year. It is not necessary, however, to do the lessons at that tempo, and one might want to remain with a particularly appealing lesson for more than one day. The instructions urge only that not more than one lesson a day should be attempted. The practical nature of the Workbook is underscored by the introduction to its lessons, which emphasizes experience through application rather tan a prior commitment to a spiritual goal:
Some of the ides the workbook represents you will find hard to believe, and other may seem to be quite startling, This does not matter. You are merely asked to apply the ideas as you are directed to do. You are not asked to judge them at all. You are asked to apply use them. It is their use that till give them meaning to you, and will show you that they are true.
Remember only this; you need not believe the ideas, you need not accept them, and you need not even welcome them. Some of them you may actively resist. None of this will matter, or decrease their efficacy. But do now allow yourself to make exceptions in applying the ideas the workbook contains, and whatever your reactions to the ideas may be, use the,. Nothing more than that is required.

Finally, the Manual for Teachers, which is written in question and answer form, provides answers to some of the more likely questions a student might ask. It also includes a clarification of a number of terms the Course uses, explaining them within the theoretical framework of the Text.
The Course makes no claim to finality, nor are the Workbook lessons intended to bring the student's learning to completion. At the end the reader is left in the hands of his or her own Internal Teacher, Who will direct all subsequent learning as He sees fit. While the Course is comprehensive in scope, truth cannot be limited to any finite, as is clearly recognized in the statement at the end of the Workbook:
This course is a beginning not an end...No more specific lessons are assigned, for these is no more need of them. Henceforth, hear but the Voice for God...He will direct your efforts, telling you exactly what to do, how to direct your mind, and when to come to Him in silence, asking for His sure direction and His certain Word.
